The holiday-themed Reindeer Dash (1K) and 5K, through a partnership with Speedway Children's Charities at Texas Motor Speedway will provide educational, financial, social and medical need for youth in the area.

The route will start on Texas Motor Speedway's famed 1.5-mile oval and go through the Gift of Lights. The event will feature complimentary hot chocolate, pancakes and popcorn.

Following the race, join us for a drive-in movie on Big Hoss TV featuring "elf!" It is $20 per car for general public; movie fee is INCLUDED in the admission for all runners. You will tune into a radio station from your car to listen to the movie.  Schools bringing a bus will need to provide their own boombox to stream the movie audio.

Due to the high volume of runners and spectators traveling to Texas Motor Speedway, expect some traffic delays and please arrive early. The exit to take off I-35 is exit 70 and you will turn onto 114 towards the track (you will be able to see it from the highway). Turn onto Alison Ave. and enter through the South Tunnel (follow directional signage of property). Once you have entered the tunnel and infield, Texas Motor Speedway personnel will direct traffic and parking. All traffic exiting the run/movie will leave through the North Tunnel, again with Texas Motor Speedway personnel directing.

There is a "Holiday Cheermeister" award for best dressed in holiday attire. Prizes for 1st place and two runner-ups, see below for some inspiration! There will be no awards ceremony.
